2. Purpose of this site
civicdesign.cc presents the Civic Design practice, its method and its toolbox, together with the related editorial materials: the book, the newsletter and the research behind them.
This is the English version. The Spanish, Italian and French versions live at disenocivico.com, civicdesign.it and designcivique.com, operated by the same owner.
The online course is sold and delivered by Udemy on its own platform, under its own terms. This site does not process payments and is not a party to that transaction. Everything concerning payment, access, certificate, receipt and refund rights is governed by Udemy’s terms, which you should read before buying. Udemy currently applies a thirty-day refund policy.
3. Intellectual property
Two regimes apply here, and the distinction is deliberate.
Course materials
The videos, canvases, matrices, templates and methodologies that make up the course are the property of Domenico Di Siena and are licensed for personal, non-transferable use to whoever acquires them. Redistribution, public performance, resale, or use to deliver training to third parties is not permitted without prior written authorisation.
Editorial content
Articles, essays, newsletter texts and openly published content are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence unless stated otherwise. You may copy, adapt and redistribute them, including commercially, provided you credit the author and keep the same licence on any derivative work.
Third-party trademarks and trade names appearing on this site belong to their respective owners.
4. Liability for content
The content of this site is educational and informational. Civic Design is a situated practice: what works in one territory does not transfer mechanically to another. Nothing published here constitutes legal, technical or professional advice for a specific case, nor does it guarantee any particular outcome in a participatory process.
I take reasonable care to keep the information accurate and current, but I cannot guarantee it is free of errors or that the service will be uninterrupted.

This site links to third-party platforms, including Udemy, LinkedIn and Public Mesh. I do not control their content or their policies, and linking to them implies no endorsement or relationship beyond what is expressly described.
